Queen Esther Weatherton

Queen Ester Sneed Weatherton was born July 4, 1935, to the late Willie and Julia Ary Sneed. She was the 4th child of 11 children.

At an early age, she accepted Christ and became a member of Mt. Pero Baptist Church. She later in life united with Pleasant Grove Baptist Church, where her husband is a member.

She was united in holy matrimony with Kelly Weatherton Sr, May 23, 1953. They were married for 67 years. This union was blessed with 7 children.

One son preceded her in death, Travis Weatherton. Three brothers and one sister preceded her in death; Robert Sneed, Albert Sneed, Leon Sneed and Betty Jackson.

Left to cherish her precious memories husband, Kelly Weatherton Sr; 6 children, Kelly Weatherton Jr, (Shirley), Gloria, Danny Weatherton , Loretta Thomas, Linda Thomas (Russell), Curley Weatherton (Sherry); 14 grand children, 19 great grand children; 4 brothers and 2 sisters; Willie Sneed Jr, Paul Sneed, Otis Sneed, Odessa Hutchins, and Bobbie Marlowe, all from Dallas Texas, and W. C. Sneed Sr. of Dubberly, LA; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and dear friends.
